The Ben Avery Shooting Facility
The Ben Avery Shooting Facility is a public outdoor shooting range located in northern Phoenix, Arizona. At 1650 acres it is the largest public operated shooting facility in the United States. It is operated by the Arizona Game and Fish Department and is identified as one of the Phoenix Points of Pride.
Precision Rifle One
I recently took Adam's Precision Rifle One course and it was an incredible experience. Adam is an exceptional instructor who has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to marksmanship and precision shooting. The course was well-structured and covered all the basics of rifle shooting, including MOA, MIL/MRAD, rifle selection, setup, ammunition selection, optic selection, optic function, and gear selection.
Precision Rifle Two
The range time was my favorite part of the course. We got to shoot at varying distances and Adam guided us through the shooting process, giving us tips and tricks along the way. I was amazed at how much my marksmanship improved after just a few hours of range time with Adam.
Introduction to Precision Rifle
Adam's teaching style is very engaging and he is always willing to answer any questions you may have. The course was a combination of classroom instruction and range time, which allowed us to put into practice what we had learned in the classroom. Adam is a very patient and encouraging instructor, and he always made sure that we understood the concepts before moving on to the next topic.
